As a small team we are committed to pushing ourselves to be the best creatively and professionally. The last two years have been extremely challenging but equally as rewarding. We have travelled the length and breadth of Zambia, and Zimbabwe, and even managed an assignment in the Bale Mountains of Ethiopia. Growing The Rusty Mokoro as a specialised wildlife and conservation film production studio, whilst taking on freelancing shoots with productions such as the BBC and Apple TV has kept us in our toes. Our 2024 Showreel brings together some of the elements from the places we have been, and only lightly touches on the the experiences and people we have met.
Conservation filmmaking pushes us, making us stronger and more appreciative everyday of the people and organisations who are on the front-foot of protecting the biodiversity and cultures that we have evolved with over millennia.
As 2025 starts to gain momentum, we want to take a moment to thank all those that have supported us on this journey and we look forward to current and future collaborations. Here is to creating more meaningful and purpose driven stories in 2025, for the people, wildlife and conservation efforts.
We not very good at documenting ourselves, but luckily we have our phones to occasionally snap a quick moment in the field. One of our goals this year is to bring you more on assignment 'with us' to gain a deeper understanding of the work we and those that we document are doing. You can keep up to date on our social feeds, mostly Instagram.
