In October last year we were invited to do the coverage of the annual #thisischobe campaign. This was our first time filming in Botswana, and although we only shot in one region, we were blown away by the people and the wildlife and cannot wait to get back to Bots’ in the near future!
The campaign focused on the diversity and abundance that the Chobe region has to offer, as explained by Stuart Parker in the final video (see below).
The group was a mixture of travel agents, influencers and various hosts from the Chobe area; all keen to show off the abundance of game, the progression of the safari industry in the move to a more unobtrusive encounter with electric 4x4’s and water craft, and the initiatives undertaken by Elephants Without Borders and the impact that tourism has on the local community in terms of employment.
To find out more about the region, follow the hashtag #ThisIsChobe on social media. (Facebook and Instagram).
Many thanks to Desert and Delta, Chobe Game Lodge, and Chobe Savanna Lodge for pulling it all together. Hopefully we will see you in 2019.
